Things to do with unframed posters

When we started sharreo, we only offered framed prints, (premium and high quality wooden frames from renewable forests in Eastern Europe and Japan.) But what about our customers that already have their own frames? Or don't like the standard black wood ones that we offer? Well we heard you frame-less hungry customers! Now (nearly) all our super sharreo prints are available to buy unframed for all your at-home framing fancies.

For you unframed poster customers, I'm sure you already have plenty of ideas of how to jazz up your wall with your new print but just in case, we've written a range of ideas of how to start hanging your new unframed print.

1. Jazz up a regular frame

Ok so you could do this one with your sharreo framed print as well but for the sake of this article, let's pretend you can't. Buy a frame from Desenio or your local art shop (not Amazon - booo.) Then get yourself down to a craft shop and grab what you fancy, glitter, buttons, or just some paint and craft away. Not only will you get a frame that fits perfectly to your taste but also something that's completely unique.

2. Make a collage

To do this one, you'd need to buy a big frame like this one from Desenio (and multiple sharreo prints of course.) Then grab some scissors and some prit-stik and collage away. I'd recommend getting a mix of graphic only prints, punny prints and text only prints in various colours for maximum impact.

3. Use a clothes hanger

On a bit of a budget? This is a great way to hang your unframed posters without the extra cost. Get some old trouser clothes hangers and pin up your posters using the clips. For best effect, I'd definitely recommend having a few together so it's purposeful and not just a bit weird.

4. Get some binder clips

Similar to the clothes hangers, you could hang your unframed posters by using binder clips tied together with some string over a nail. Nice and easy.

5. Mount the prints on a blank canvas

Again head down to your local art shop, or order from somewhere like Cass Art. Rather than using something like print stick, maybe get some PVA glue instead but be careful not to overload or it will wrinkle the paper from your unframed poster. Then you can hang using nails or non-nail hangings.
